lake-mburo-national-park

Lake Mburo is the smallest park in Uganda covering a 260sqkm territory. It’s a short 4hour drive and a perfect place to go in case one needs a short wildlife- sighting getaway. The park is predominantly Savannah and acacia woodland however some parts vary between rocky ridges and forested gorges. Its important to note that 20% of the park consists of wetland habitats, the greatest and biggest of the Lake Mburo from which the park derives its name.

Located en-route the Albertine rift valley, a stop-over and great way to view the Impala, Topi, Buffalo, largest herd of zebras in the country. The park is an underrates gem , which is scenically reminiscent to L.Naivasah in Kenya Rift Valley.
