Here’s a short trip for the person/s without much time in Uganda. Hit the road as soon as you decide you need to see a little extra of Uganda before that short conference or meeting in Uganda. Perhaps, after the a fore-mentioned plans.

Itinerary

DAY 1 | BOAT RIDE & GAME DRIVE | MEAL PLAN: HB

Considering the park is located just a three hours’ drive from Kampala, the departure time can be much later or 7 AM. Upon arrival, you will have a safari drive in the park as you go to the jetty where you will take a boat. In addition to the beautiful scenery, and simple pleasure attached to being out on the water, the boat trip reliably produces good sightings for hippo, crocodile, buffalo, waterbuck and bushbuck and it’s also worth looking for the three species of resident otter.

An Option in the morning is to visit the mashy mabamba swamps to see the elusive shoebill stork and later proceed to the designated national park.

We will have another short game drive as we head to your accommodation.

DAY 2 | DEPARTURE | MEAL PLAN: HB

Early in the morning, you will have an optional guided nature walk with an armed ranger. After which you will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe.
