DAY 1 | ARRIVAL IN ENTEBBE | MEAL PLAN: BB
Arrival in Entebbe at scheduled time. Transfer to a hotel/guesthouse for an overnight rest, in preparation for the next day’s journey.

DAY 2 | KIBALE FOREST NP | MEAL PLAN: HB
Kibale Forest is located approx. six hours from Entebbe; a later departure is therefore acceptable. The journey is swift with induction to the rural parts of Uganda. Finally you will arrive in the afternoon just in time for lunch. You have a choice to go hiking to the top of the world, from whence you will have stunning views of crater lakes in the area. Plainly spoken, this activity supports a small section of locals hence improving their livelihood.

DAY 3 | CHIMP TREKKING & BIGODI SWAMP WALK | MEAL PLAN: HB
Activity One: This morning, you will go for chimpanzee tracking in their natural habitat that is by far the best place to see these primates. This is your first chance to get up-close to our closest relative in the animal kingdom. Spend the whole morning in the forest returning to the lodge in time for lunch.

Activity Two; Later in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity of a guided walk through Bigodi Swamp. This swamp is a home to approximately 137 bird species and it’s also rich in vegetation, such as wild palms, polita figs and the dominant papyrus.

DAY 4 | QUEEN ELIZABETH NP | MEAL PLAN: HB
At 7;00am, you will depart Kibale and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon entry you will have a game drive to accustom you with the ‘frame-of-mind’ of the park. You will then go to your lodge of stay to relax and get ready for the following days activities.

Queen Elizabeth is known as Uganda’s most accessible savannah reserve. It is bounded to the west by the Ishasha River and Lake Edward, to the East lake George, the Kyambura Gorge & Kalinzu reserve, to the north by Kasese and the rwenzori foothills and finally to the south by the Kigezi Wildlife Reserve.

DAY 5 | GAME DRIVE & BOAT CRUISE | MEAL PLAN: HB
Activity one: This morning, we will go for a game drive to the Kasenyi area returning to the lodge in time for a hearty breakfast.

Activity two: Time for the famous boat cruise on the kazinga Channel. Chances of seeing Hippos huff and spray mere feet away from the boat are high, Buffalos linger in the shallows, Elephants awarding the boat cruisers with their presence. The park is also known for incredible variety of birds, like; African Jacana, Great White and Pink-Backed Pelicans, Open-Billed Stork, Great and Long-Tailed Cormorants, Malachite and Pied Kingfishers.

The day ends with Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

DAY 6 | ISHASHA GAME DRIVE | MEAL PLAN: HB
By now you are used to the early wakes and early breakfasts and today will not be any different. Your guide will drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth famed for the tree climbing lions arriving at the camp in time for lunch or just a little earlier. If the latter, you will have a game drive in search of the climbing lions.

Relax during lunch and later go for an evening game drive in the plains.

The day ends with Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

DAY 7 | TRANSFER TO BWINDI NP | MEAL PLAN: HB
After breakfast, you will have a short game drive as we bid this lovely park goodbye for Bwindi forest passing via kabala with beautiful scenery of hills and valleys in between and terrace farming almost everywhere. Arriving at your lodge in the early evening hours and rest and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking.

The day ends with Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

DAY 8 | GORILLA TREKKING | MEAL PLAN: HB
Today we take a walk through this gigantic rain forest in search for the mountain gorillas. The gorilla trekking is preceded by a briefing usually at 7;30 am and by 8;30 am the walk begins. The duration of the walk entirely depends on how far the gorillas have wandered off on a particular day. Upon meeting them, you are allowed 1 hour to earn their trust and document their behavior and beauty. We will then trek back to the starting point, but one cannot deny the unique experience that’s worth doing time and time again.

DAY 9 | LAKE MBURO NP | MEAL PLAN: HB
On this day you will drive to Lake Mburo NP. But before that, there are different activities you can take part in before you leave Bwindi forest like an optional boat trip on Lake Mutanda or an optional visit to the Batwa community. Or just have breakfast and head out to the next park. The choice is yours.

Lake Mburo is an underrated gem of a park, dominated by wildlife with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland and other savannah species. You will have an optional night game drive in the park.

DAY 10 | DEPARTURE | MEAL PLAN: BB
After breakfast, have game drive or an optional guided nature walk and then proceed to Entebbe having a stop to look at the Equator. The rest of the drive will take you to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to your next destination.
